AICC general secretary and Telangana in-charge for party affairs Digvijay Singh asserted that the doors of Congress party are permanently shut for those who had defected to Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). Since they had left for personal gains, they would not be allowed to return back to party fold, he said.
Speaking on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Dr B R Ambedkar here on Tuesday, he said that the party which is taking on BJP at the Centre on ideological lines, will continue to fight the TRS in the State, which had

betrayed the poor and Dalits after coming to power. He called upon the State leadership to directly communicate with the ‘opinion makers’ rather than holding public meetings.
Describing the recent PowerPoint Presentation (PPP) by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao as bundle of falsehood, he asked the party men to reach out to masses for disproving his claims on various irrigation projects. While the Chief Minister is boastful about constructing 2-BHK houses, nothing related this project is earmarked in the current budget.
