Congress leader shot dead in Jharkhand's Ramgarh

Unidentified miscreants shot a Congress leader dead in Jharkhand's Ramgarh on Saturday evening.

Congress leader Bitka Bawari was an aide of Barkagoan MLA Amba Prasad.

Bawari was at a petrol pump in Saunda Basti when three bike-borne, unidentified men fired a dozen shots at the Congress



leader.

The miscreants fled the scene after the incident.

The Congress leader was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead.

Meanwhile, party MLA Amba Prasad and former minister Yogendra Shaw condemned the incident and raised questions on law and order in the state.
