Congress party senior leader and former BC Commission member Vakulabharanam Krishnamohan Rao on Friday joined the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the presence of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at the latter’s camp office in the city.
He raised a banner of revolt against TPCC President N Uttam Kumar Reddy for not including his name in
the list of new TPCC executive announced by the party high command two days ago. He was the member of state BC Commission between 2004 and 2009 in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.
Rao said he joined the ruling party as he was attracted by the welfare programmes meant for BC, SC, ST and minorities launched by the Chief Minister.
