Shimla: In Himachal Pradesh, the 40 newly elected Congress MLAs have passed a resolution authorizing the Congress high command to choose the next Chief Minister for the state. AICC in-charge for state Rajeev Shukla said that the Legislature Party meeting was called in Shimla yesterday to discuss the appointment of the next Chief Minister.
He said, all the Congress MLAs unanimously passed a resolution that the decision to choose the Chief Minister be left to
party's high command. The report will be submitted to the party's high command today. All the elected MLAs of the State Congress attended the meeting.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and State Congress Election Supervisor Bhupesh Baghel, former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, state party President and MP Pratibha Singh among others were present in the meeting at State Congress Headquarters Rajiv Bhawan.
