Congress MPs in Lok Sabha misbehaved with BJP women members: Smriti Irani

Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani yesterday alleged that Congress MPs in Lok Sabha misbehaved with BJP women members. Talking to reporters outside the Parliament, Ms. Irani appealed to the Speaker to take the strongest possible action in this matter.

However, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Choudhary alleged that a ruling party MP assaulted one of the Congress' women MPs in the Lok Sabha. He said Congress will continue



to protest in Parliament and it is the party's duty to uncover the truth behind the Delhi violence.

On the opening day of the second part of the Budget Session yesterday, BJP and Congress members pushed and shoved each other in the Lok Sabha. Members of the Opposition parties protested over the issue of Delhi's violence and demanded the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah.
