Congress releases first list of 77 candidates for Gujarat elections

The Congress has released the first list of its 77 candidates for ensuing Gujarat Assembly elections. The Central Election Committee of the party selected the names in a meeting held in New Delhi this evening.These names have been chosen for the first phase of polls.

Senior party



leader Shaktisinh Gohil will contest from Mandvi constituency. Mr Arjun Modhwadia has also been given ticket to contest the Assembly election.

The election is to be held in two phases on December 9 and 14, and its result will be announced on December 18.
