Political stirring has intensified in Rajasthan in the wake of Rajya Sabha elections. The ruling Congress shifted its MLAs to a resort near Jaipur late yesterday evening. Ministers of the state cabinet and some independent MLAs also been shifted to the resort.  Earlier, these MLAs met Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at his residence.

Congress national spokesperson Randeep Surjewala also reached Jaipur yesterday evening. Chief Whip in the Legislative Assembly Mahesh Joshi wrote a letter to the



Director-General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau Late last night stating that an attempt is being made to destabilize the government by luring the party and the independent MLAs. He also demanded action against those who are trying to lure public representatives.

On the other hand, BJP’s state President Satish Poonia has said that Congress is troubled by its infighting. Due to which the government is feeling insecure and does not trust its MLAs.
