Congress suspends MP Dr.Shakeel Ahmed for anti-party activities

Senior Congress leader and former MP Dr. Shakeel Ahmed has been suspended from Congress party for anti-party activities. 

Congress national general secretary Motil Lal Vora has issued the order in this regard.

Action has been taken against Mr. Ahmed because he is contesting Lok Sabha election as an



independent candidate from Madhubani parliamentary constituency in Bihar against official nominee of Grand Alliance. 

Along with Mr. Ahmed party MLA from Benipatti Ms. Bhavana Jha, who has given support to Mr. Ahmed in the elections, has also been suspended by the party.
