Counter militancy operation launched jointly by Army & J&K Police underway in Pulwama

The counter militancy operation launched jointly by Army & J&K Police is underway in Saimoh village of Tral subdivision in Pulwama district.Local sources said one residential house has been damaged in the village probably during exchange of fire around 2:30 AM early this morning. They said intermittent firing from one



side is going on in the area. 

Terrorists attacked an Army patrol party in the area around 9 PM that triggered a gunfight. There is no report of any injury on either side. Later, reinforcements were rushed to the area and search operation launched to nab the terrorists.
