Vijayawada: AP chief secretary Dr K.S. Jawahar Reddy held a meeting with senior officials on Friday in connection with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Tirupati and Tirumala on November 26 and departure the next day on November 27.
The PM is expected to arrive at Tirupati Airport by a special Indian Air Force flight on the evening of Sunday, November 26. From there, he will proceed to Tirumala for an overnight stay. The next morning, Narendra Modi will have the darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swami. He will then fly to Hyderabad.
The review meeting was attended by senior officials, including special chief secretary (endowments) Karikala
Valaven, Tirupati district collector K. Venkata Ramana Reddy, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams executive officer A.V. Dharma Reddy, AP Protocol director Balasubrahmanyam Reddy, Tirupati SP Parameswara Reddy, and additional director (Information) L. Swarnalatha.
The CS asked officials to ensure that all norms are followed while making arrangements for the Prime Minister's visit. Jawahar Reddy told the TTD executive officer to ensure all formalities that are followed for VVIP visits. There must be no room for mistakes.
