Curfew relaxed for more hours with improvement of law and order situation in Manipur

Public curfew in Manipur has been relaxed for more hours with the improvement of law and order situation in the State.

Security Advisor to Manipur Government Kuldeep Singh told media persons in Imphal this evening, both the national highways passing through the State have opened now and trucks carrying essential items from outside the State have reached Imphal safely. Around seventy-six trucks including LPG bullet trucks will be reaching Imphal tonight.

He said that the government has opened a Rumour Free Manipur Room to stop

The Security Advisor to Manipur Government said that the police has received complaints about five persons who have gone missing during the incident. The State Police and Paramilitary forces have been trying to trace them. Adequate security personnel have been deployed in all sensitive areas to control any unwanted incidents.
