Curfew was relaxed in entire Jammu city on Wednesday for the first time since its imposition on Friday following protests and violence over Pulwama attack.
Authorities said relaxation was given as situation showed considerable improvement.
District Magistrate, Jammu, Ramesh Kumar,
initially ordered relaxation in the curfew in the city from 8 AM to 11 AM but extended it till 6.30 PM as no untoward incident was reported from anywhere. He said prohibitory orders will remain in force to maintain law and order.
