CWC meeting to decide new party chief to be held today

A meeting of the Congress Working Committee will be held in New Delhi today to decide on the new party chief. 

Talking to media persons last evening, senior party leader KC Venugopal said, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chiefs, Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leaders, MPs



and the All India Congress Committee secretaries will take part in the meeting and hold broader consultations on the new name.

Earlier, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi resigned from the post of party president after loss in Lok Sabha polls.
