Between the fear of cyclone Biporjoy affecting the coastal areas of Gujarat, especially Kutch, Dwarka, Jamnagar, Porbandar, the state government is taking action on a war footing. Disaster control room helplines have been started in all coastal areas. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya held a meeting with State Health Minister Rushikesh Patel and officials at Bhuj in Kutch



and reviewed the situation, while Union Animal Husbandry Minister Parshottam Rupala also visited Dwarka on Tuesday and took stock of the situation. Meanwhile, two teams of NDRF have been deployed in Kutch due to the possibility of cyclone. 

While 8,000 people have been evacuated from 72 villages of Kutch.
