Cyclonic storm PABUK likely to cross Andaman Sea on Jan 5

Cyclonic storm “PABUK” is very likely to emerge into the Andaman Sea around forenoon tomorrow. In a weather bulletin, the India Meteorological Department   IMD said thereafter it is very likely to cross the Andaman Islands around Sunday evening. 

The IMD said rainfall at many places with heavy falls at isolated



places is likely to commence over the Andaman Islands from tomorrow evening. Squally wind speed reaching 40-50 km gusting to 60 kmph is likely to commence over the Andaman Sea from evening today. 

The fishermen are advised not to venture into the Andaman Sea from today till Monday.
