Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral R Harikumar joined naval and defence personnel onboard INS Vikrant for International Day of Yoga celebrations at Cochin Shipyard

Kochi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral R Harikumar joined the naval and defence personnel onboard INS Vikrant for the International Day of Yoga celebrations at the Cochin Shipyard this morning. Nearly 700 personnel including several women participated in the event. The Defence Minister felicitated the yoga instructors on the occasion.

Mr Singh will



also inaugurate the state of art Ship Handling Simulator at the Naval Base later.

The Defence Minister, who is on a two-day visit to Kochi, last night released electronic navigation charts of Port Blair and Mauritius at a function organised onboard the Hydrographic Survey vessel  INS Jamuna, to mark World Hydrography Day.
