A delegation of Indian Parliament led by the Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla will be on a three days visit to Mongolia from 6th of this month. The delegation has been invited by the speaker of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia.

The Parliamentary delegation is visiting Mongolia after a gap of seven years. This is the return visit of the Parliamentary delegation since the Parliament of India hosted the Mongolian Parliamentary delegation in India in December 2021.

The delegation comprises Members of Parliament Rajesh Verma, Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah, Narain Dass Gupta,



Rebati Tripura and Pabitra Margherita as well as Lok Sabha Secretary General Utpal Kumar Singh.
 
Lok Sabha Secretariat said that the visit will contribute towards sustaining high level exchanges and reinforcing strategic partnership between India and Mongolia. 

During the visit, Mr. Birla will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at Sukhbaatar Square, Ulaanbaatar by Mr. Zandanshatar Gombojav, Speaker, the State of Great Khural. The delegation would also be interacting with the Indian community in Mongolia on 6th July.
