Delhi Assembly yesterday passed the Delhi Budget 2021-22. Participating in the discussion on the budget in the House, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal congratulated Finance Minister Manish Sisodia for presenting an excellent and surplus budget despite difficult circumstances that Delhi had to witness due to less tax and revenue collection.
He said, despite
the drop in revenue, the government will continue to provide all these services including free electricity, water and school education. Delhi Finance Minister Manish Sisodia replied to the discussion on the budget. Later Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel adjourned the House sine die. The Budget session of Delhi Assembly began on 9th of March.
