Hundreds of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers today staged a protest against Delhi government over the crisis of water in areas of south Delhi. South Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri led the group of agitators at the Delhi Jal Board office in Greater Kailash-1 and burned effigy of Chief Minister Arvind
Kejriwal.
The protesters shouted slogans against the government seeking uninterrupted water supply in Sangam Vihar, Tughlakabad and adjoining areas.
"The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) is working on behest of the AAP MLAs and middlemen are involved in distribution of water tankers," alleged Bidhuri.
