Delhi court awards life term to ex-TV producer Suhaib Ilyasi

A Delhi court has awarded life imprisonment to former television serial producer Suhaib Ilyasi for killing his wife 17 years ago.Additional Sessions Judge SK Malhotra also imposed a fine of 2 lakh rupees on Ilyasi and directed him to

pay 10 lakhs as compensation to the parents of the woman.

Ilyasi, who had shot into limelight after hosting TV crime show - 'India's Most Wanted', was convicted in the case on Saturday.
