Delhi court extends remand of Sanjay Singh till October 13 in connection with Delhi excise policy case

New Delhi: A Delhi court extended the remand of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh till the 13th of October in connection with the Delhi excise policy scam case.

Earlier on 5th of October, the Court sent Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh to remand till Tuesday in the case.

Singh was arrested following the raid at his residence in the national capital.

The ED has alleged that Singh played a key role in framing and implementing a now-scrapped Delhi liquor policy which was allegedly aimed at benefiting certain liquor manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers.
