Voting for the Delhi assembly elections to elect a 70-member House began at 7 am today, February 5, and will continue till 6 pm across 13,766 polling stations in the national capital, with AAP, Congress, and BJP engaged in a fierce triangular contest. PM Modi in a post on X urged the youth to vote and participate in the “festival of democracy”.

Former president Ram Nath Kovind cast his vote, along with his family, and urged all citizens in Delhi to cast their



ballot.

"This is a festival of democracy for the people of Delhi and I would like to appeal to every voter to cast their vote. This is our constitutional right and moral responsibility. Through our vote, we can elect a representative of our choice and form a government of our choice. So, I urge every voter to vote," he said.

Delhi is voting on all 70 assembly constituencies; as of 11 am the voter turnout was recorded at 19.95%
