Polling for the 70-member Delhi Assembly took place today, witnessing a sluggish start before voters turned out in large numbers to decide the city's next government. The AAP, led by Arvind Kejriwal, is vying for a third consecutive term, while the BJP and the Congress are aiming to regain lost ground. Key battleground constituencies such as New Delhi, Kalkaji, and Jangpura have emerged as high-stakes contests. Vote counting is scheduled

for February 8, but exit polls may provide early indications of the possible outcome. However, as history has shown, exit poll data should be taken with a pinch of salt.

As per the exit polls, the BJP is likely to make a comeback in the national capital after 27 years. AAP, which was eyeing a third consecutive term in Delhi, will emerge second-best on February 8, the day of counting of votes, exit polls predicted.
