In Uttar Pradesh, eight coaches of the Delhi-Faizabad express got derailed between Garhmukteshwar and Brajghat stations of Muradabad rail Division last night. ADRM Muradabad division Sajeev Mishra told that the accident took place around 9.20 pm. Almost two dozen passengers were injured in the accident. No casualty has been reported in the mishap. Inquiry
has been set up to investigate the incident.
Northern Railway Spokesperson Neeraj Sharma said, the Delhi -Muradabad rail route is disrupted due to derailment. He said, nine passengers train have been canceled and about 39 trains were diverted. Mr Sharma said, repairing work is going on and the route will be operative by 5 pm today.
