New Delhi: The Delhi government has lifted the ban on construction and demolition activities in view of an improvement in the air quality in the national capital. Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that considering the difficulties faced by the workers due to the closure of construction work, the ban has been lifted. He said, the government will continue to monitor the implementation of
dust control measures at all construction and demolition sites.
Mr Rai said that the ban on trucks from entering Delhi from other states, barring essential services, has also been extended till 26th of this month. The Schools, colleges, institutes, training centers and others will remain shut until further notice.
