Delhi government has issued notification for the odd-even scheme which will be implemented from Monday. The scheme will continue till 15th of this month. Under the scheme, odd and even-numbered vehicles will ply on alternate days.

Briefing reporters after taking review meeting on Odd and Even scheme with all concerned agencies, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, the government has also decided to stagger working hours of its offices during the implementation the scheme. He said, two separate times of opening of Government offices have been fixed which are 9:30 AM and 10: 30 AM. Mr Kejriwal said, private offices in the national capital will not come under the government



order.
 
During this period, two thousand additional buses will ply on the road. The Odd and Even scheme restrictions will not be applicable on two-wheelers, vehicles being used for medical emergencies, for women and vehicles carrying school children. The scheme will be applicable from 8 AM to 8 PM, except on Sundays. Violating the rule will incur a fine of four thousand rupees. 

Vehicle of President, Vice President, Prime Minister, State Governors, Chief Justice of India, Speaker of Lok Sabha, Union Ministers, Leaders of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, Chief Ministers of States and Union Territories will also be exempted from the scheme.
