Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said on Wednesday that the government will lift Covid-19 restriction if the number of cases declines in the next two or three days.
"Restrictions will be lifted if Covid cases come down in two-three days," Satyendar Jain said, adding that that city is likely to witness a spike of around 25,000 cases on Wednesday.
Satyendar Jain also said that Covid-19 coronavirus cases have stabilised in the national capital
and there is a possibility of the infections declining soon.
"Covid positivity rate can't determine if cases have peaked or not...Hospitalisation rate has stabilised and cases have plateaued. There are still several beds vacant," Satyendar Jain said.
Comparing the scenario with Mumbai, Satyendar Jain said the cases have started declining there and the same situation is likely to happen here.
