The Delhi government's 10-week anti-dengue campaign commenced yesterday. The '10 Hafte 10 Baje 10 Minute' campaign seeks to build awareness about prevention of vector-borne diseases. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that like last time, two crore people of Delhi will join hands and work together to fight against dengue.
He
said, last year there were only 1400 to 1500 dengue cases in Delhi, which was a big achievement, because this number was around 14 to 15 thousand a few years back. Mr Kejriwal said, the Resident Welfare Associations will be asked to come together and help in the fight against dengue and promote the campaign.
