Delhi Police recovers IED at East Delhi's Ghazipur flower market

New Delhi: Delhi Police recovered an Improvised explosive device (IED) inside an unattended bag at East Delhi’s Ghazipur flower market yesterday. Delhi Police said that the IED was disposed off by National Security Gauard (NSG) Bomb Disposal Squad using a controlled explosion. The device was pressed into a deep pit for

controlled explosion.

After receiving the information about an unattended bag in the Mandi, the Joint teams of Special Cell of Delhi Police, NSG's Bomb disposal Squad and Fire services reached the spot and area was cardoned off for further action.
