Delhi polls: Election Commission announces ban on exit polls till Feb 8

The Election Commission has announced ban on exit polls from 8 A.M. to 6.30 P.M. on 8th of next month in view of Delhi Assembly elections. Polling is scheduled to be held on that day in the national capital.

In its order, the Commission



said, there will be restrictions on conduct of any exit poll and publication and dissemination of result of such exit polls by means of print or electronic media or in any other manner during the period.
