New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal yesterday said capacity has been created to conduct three lakh COVID tests daily and home isolation management protocol is being strengthened in view of Omicron threat. Briefing media last evening, Mr Kejriwal said that with the preparations, one lakh daily cases can be handled if the need arises.
He appealed to
persons with mild symptoms to stay at home and not rush to hospitals.
He said manpower is being increased and medicines are being stocked for the next couple of months. He also said that they are arranging medical oxygen and 15 oxygen tankers will be delivered to hospitals in the next three weeks.
