Delhi Transport Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Kailash Gahlot has resigned from the party.
In his resignation letter to AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Mr Gahlot said that the party faces grave challenges today. He alleged that political ambitions have overtaken the party’s commitments towards the people which has left many
promises unfulfilled.
Meanwhile, talking to the media, Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva termed the AAP leader’s resignation a courageous step.
Besides, AAP MP Sanjay Singh alleged that Kailash Gahlot’s resignation is a part of BJP’s conspiracy.
