Today is Dhanteras it marks the first day of Diwali. It is celebrated on the 13th day of the Krishna Paksha. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today greeted people on the auspicious occasion. In a tweet, Mr Modi hoped that Lord Dhanvantari will bring happiness, prosperity, good luck and good health in everyone's



life.

In Uttar Pradesh, Preparations for a grand 'deepotsav' are underway in Ayodhya. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will take part in the Deepotsav this evening. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to participate in the event virtually. Doordarshan will broadcast live of the Deepotsava from Ayodhya.
