Dhinakaran blames TN govt for violent incidents during protest against IPL match

Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhakam AMMK leader T T V Dhinakaran blamed the Tamil Nadu government for the violent incidents during the protest against IPL match in Chennai. 

He alleged that Police had attacked and registered cases against those who were agitating in a democratic manner against IPL matches in Tamil Nadu.

Talking to reporters in Chennai Dhinakaran, said



though his party welcomed the agitation for the welfare and benefit of the state, it, opposed people taking law into their hands.

Pro-Tamil outfits and others had staged a protest against holding of the Indian Premier League match involving Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders, citing the ongoing agitation over Cauvery issue.
