DigiLocker Surpasses 30 Crore Users Nationwide

More than 30 crore users in the country are now using the facility of DigiLocker, and 675 crore e-documents have been issued by government agencies in electronic format on DigiLocker to date. 

In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Jitin Prasad said that DigiLocker offers a



secure digital platform for the storage and verification of documents and certificates. He added that stringent measures such as advanced encryption standards, role-based access control, multi-factor authentication, and regular security audits have been adopted in compliance with international security standards.
