Direct daily flight operations between Kalaburagi to Tirupati flagged off under UDAN

The direct daily flight operations between Kalaburagi in Karnataka to Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh was flagged off under the Regional Connectivity Scheme - Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN). Attesting the dual objectives of the UDAN scheme, making air travel affordable for the people and simultaneously enhancing its coverage in the country, 305 UDAN routes and 53 airports have



been operationalized till date.

 

The Civil Aviation Ministry said, Kalaburagi airport recently completed a successful one year of service and it has become the fastest growing airport in the country. More than one thousand flights have ferried over 43 thousand people from the airport.
