In Rajasthan, the in-service doctors called off their week-long strike following exhaustive eight-hour long talks with health minister Kali Charan Saraf and top officials of government on last night. More than nine thousand in-service doctors will resume their duties today.

In-Service Doctors Association, Dr. Ajay Chaudhary said that the government gave nod to all their 33 demands including grade pay of 10,000 rupees and arrears.
Health minister Kali Charan Saraf said that all deadlocks have been resolved. As many as 2000 primary Health centres and 569 Community health centres along with several district hospitals had been hit by the strike.
