Doors of Gangotri Dham to close for 6-month winter break from 14th November

The doors of Gangotri Dham will close for a 6-month winter break from the 14th of next month. A statement issued by the Temple Committee said that the gates of the shrine dedicated to goddess Ganga will be closed for devotees at the

auspicious time of 11.45 am on the Annakut festival, also known as Govardhan Puja.

The Yamunotri Dham will be closed for the winter season from 15th November
