Dr Nageshwar Reddy felicitated with Dhanvantari Award

HYDERABAD: Renowned gastroenterologist and Padma Bhushan awardee Dr D Nageshwar Reddy, chairman of Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, has been conferred with the prestigious Dhanvantari Award by the Dhanvantari Medical Foundation.

The award recognises the contributions of Dr Reddy in



the field of gastroenterology, innovating new cost-effective techniques in treating liver, pancreatic cancers and also for extensive research work done in the field.

Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao handed over the award to Dr Reddy at a function in Mumbai on Sunday.
