E Palanisamy removes O Panneerselvam son, among others from party

In Tamil Nadu, the lone AIADMK MP in the Lok Sabha, P. Ravindranath was removed from the Party by E. Palanisamy, the newly elected General Secretary of the AIADMK. Ravindranath, the son of Mr. O. Panneerselvam, the former Coordinator and treasurer of the AIADMK Party, was elected from Theni Constituency in 2019. Mr. Palanisamy also removed 16 other partymens of O. Panneerselvam's faction yesterday.

yesterday expelled  Mr. Palanisamy and 22 others from the Party. In a written communication to the Speaker of the Assembly, he stated that he was the Coordinator of the Party and added that he along with the Joint Coordinator E. Palaniswamy were authorized to allot the Party symbols as per the records of the Election Commission. He rejected the recently held General Council Meeting as illegal.
