New Delhi: External Affairs Minister, Dr S Jaishankar and his Malaysian counterpart, Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir are co-chairing the 6th India-Malaysia Joint Commission Meeting in New Delhi. The Joint Commission Meeting will review the progress of Enhanced Strategic Partnership in the areas of politics, defense, security, economics, trade and investment, health, science and technology, culture, tourism, and people-to-people ties. Both sides will also discuss regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest. In a social media post,

Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir is also scheduled to call on Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar last evening.
Ahead of the Joint Commission Meeting, India-Malaysia Senior Officials’ Meeting was held in New Delhi yesterday. It was co-chaired by the Secretary (East) in the Ministry of External Affairs Saurabh Kumar and the Deputy Secretary General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Ahmad Rozian Abd Ghani. Both sides held a preparatory meeting for the 6th India-Malaysia Joint Commission Meeting.
