EAM Dr S Jaishankar holds telephonic conversation with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo

External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar held a telephonic conversation with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo yesterday. In a tweet, Mr Jaishankar said, in a wide-ranging conversation, the two leaders reviewed bilateral cooperation including working on relevant mechanisms.

The



leaders shared assessments on regional and global issues including South Asia, Afghanistan, Indo-Pacific and beyond. Dr Jaishankar said, both also exchanged views on responding to the Coronavirus challenge and discussed meeting in the Quad format in the near future.
