EAM Jaishankar Meets UN Assistance Mission Head, Discusses Current Situation In Afghanistan

Special Representative Roza Otunbayeva, the Head of United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan UNAMA yesterday met External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar in New Delhi. They exchanged views on the current situation in

Afghanistan.

Dr Jaishankar emphasised that India has provided wheat, medicines, pesticides and school supplies to Afghanistan. He appreciated the role of UN agencies as partners in these endeavours.
