EAM Jaishankar on two-day visit to Gujarat

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on a two-day visit to Gujarat on Friday visited Vyadhar and Amdala villages of Narmada district which he has adopted under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. He laid the foundation stone of two smart Anganwadis there.

The EAM has visited these villages to understand and discuss the issues faced by villagers. Mr. J.Jaishankar is a sitting Member of Parliament of Rajya Sabha from Gujarat. He will also



deliver a lecture on "Modi’s India: A Rising Power” in Anant National University in Ahmedabad today. 

His visit is organized to give an overview of ANUSHILP, a collaborative project between Anant National University with USIN (US-India Foundation) to empower the artisans of the Narmada district through a synthesis of traditional practices, design thinking and technology.
