A major earthquake of 6.6 magnitudes struck Afghanistan's Hindu Kush region on Tuesday. Strong tremors were also felt in northern India and Pakistan. According to the United States Geological Survey, the epicentre of
the quake was in Afghanistan's Jurm.
According to the National Centre for Seismology, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 on the Richter Scale hit 133km SSE of Fayzabad, Afghanistan, at 10:17 pm.
