Earthquake tremors felt in Uttarakhand on Sunday

Earthquake tremors were felt in Uttarakhand at around 8.33 am on Sunday. It had a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS) the epicenter was 17 kilometers southeast of Uttarkashi.

The



tremors were felt from the capital Dehradun, Mussoorie to Uttarkashi, Tehri, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Pauri Garhwal. Due to this people ran out of their homes. However, there has been no report of any kind of damage from anywhere.
