The Election Commission has allotted broadcast and telecast time to National Parties for the forthcoming Assembly polls in Rajasthan.
It said, the facilities of use of broadcast time and telecast time will be available only to National Parties as there is no any recognized State Party in the State.
In its order, the poll panel said, a base time of 45 minutes will be given to each Party uniformly.
It said, the facilities will be available from the Regional Kendras of All India Radio and Doordarshan and in the headquarters of Rajasthan
and relayed by other stations within the State. It said, in a single session of broadcast, no party will be allocated more than 15 minutes.
The period of broadcast and telecast will be between the last date of filing the nominations for polls and two days before the date of poll.
The Election Commission also said, the broadcast will not permit criticism of other countries, attack on religions or communities, anything obscene or defamatory, anything that incites violence and anything amounting to contempt of court.
