Hundreds of supporters of TTV Dinakaran gathered near Natraj theater in Madurai today to protest against the arrest of AIADMK (Amma) leader in the connection with the Election Commission bribery case.
Karnataka AIADMK secretary, Pugazendhi while talking to India Today said, "TTV Dinakaran's arrest was due to political vendetta and he'll soon be free and become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu."
"Action would be taken against those who removed the banners of general secretary Sasikala and deputy general secretary TTV Dinakaran's banners from party headquarters. More protests will be conducted at Madurai,

Periyakulam and Melur," he added.

Besides, Pugazendhi claimed that the pictures of Sasikala's interactions with Jayalalithaa, during latter's stay at the hospital will be released soon which would falsify all the claims by O Panneerselvam and his supporters of foul play in Jayalalithaa's death.
Notably, a similar claim was made by Sasikala's brother Dhivakaran's son Jayanandh a week ago.
TTV Dinakaran was arrested by Delhi police on charges of trying to bribe Election Commission officials to acquire AIADMK's 'twin leaves' symbol, after three days of interrogation.
