EC defers Anantnag Lok Sabha by-poll to May 25

Election Commission has deferred the Anantnag Lok Sabha by-poll to May 25, citing inputs by Jammu and Kashmir government that law and order

situation is not conducive. The commission issued a notification issued in this regard yesterday. The by-election was to be held tomorrow.
