EC gives another clean chit to PM Modi over alleged MCC violation

The Election Commission has given clean chit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi with regard to a complaint concerning alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct in a speech at Barmer in Rajasthan. 

In a statement, the commission said, the



matter has been examined in detail, as per the certified copy sent by the Returning Officer of Barmer Parliamentary Constituency. It said, the Commission is of the considered view that in this matter no such violation is attracted.
